Pima County Public Library

If you live in Pima county, you can take
free computer classes
and get free one-on-one computer tutoring
at most of the branches of the Pima County Public Library. Please sign up by phone or in person at the branch library where the class is being held. They also have computers that

for free and free WiFi Internet access for your personally-owned laptop, tablet, cell phone, or PDA!

Learning Centers

has low-cost computer classes during the non-summer months at two locations. Several of our members teach there. Their computer classes feature low student-to-instructor ratios.
Tucson Free Unix Group

The purpose of the
Tucson Free Unix Group
is to provide mutual support in installing and running free Unix operating systems, such as Linux and FreeBSD. The group encourages the development of local expertise in using these wonderful operating systems and the software available to them.
Pima Community College Computer Classes

You can take credit and non-credit
computer classes during the entire calendar year at
Pima Community
College
.
They have both online classes and classes at various campuses.
The have classes in computer basics, computer aided drafting, computer programming, systems administration, and Web design. Several of our members teach there.
