"VMWARE PLAYER 3"

Step 1:

Start "VMware Player 3" by double-clicking on its application icon.

Step 2:

The main window of "VMware Player 3" likes like this:

Double-click on "Create a New Virtual":

Step 4:

The "New Virtual Machine Wizard" will be displayed:

Step 5:

Select the option button for "Installer disk image file (iso)":

Step 6:

Click on the "Browse" button.

Step 7:

A "Browse for ISO Image" box will be displayed:

Step 8:

Locate the *.iso image file for "Windows 7 Enterprise trial" that you downloaded from Microsoft earlier:

Step 9:

Click on the *.iso image file for "Windows 7 Enterprise trial" that you downloaded from Microsoft earlier:

Step 10:

Click on the "Open" button.

You will now be back at the "New Virtual Machine Wizard" box:

Step 12:

Select the "I will install the operating system later" option.

Click on the "Next" button.

Step 13:

Make sure that "Microsoft Widows" is selected for "Guest Operating Button".

Step 14:

For "Version", either select

"Windows 7 x64" or "Windows 7 x86" depending on whether you are installing the 64 or the 32-bit version of "Windows 7 Enterprise trial".

Step 15:

Give your virtual machine an appropriate name:

Adjust "Maximum Disk Size" to the value desired:

Select the "Split virtual disk into multiple files" option.

Step 18:

Click on the "Next" button.

Step 19:

Adjust the RAM amount to be allocated to the virtual machine:

we suggest that you allocate 45 percent of the total RAM in your computer.

Do not allocate lest than 1 gigabyte of RAM for the "Windows 7 Enterprise trial" virtual machine.

Click on the "Finish" button:

Click on "Edit virtual machine settings" for the new "Windows 7 Enterprise trial" virtual machine.
