Co-leaders: Golda Velez and Dave Parizek

If you have an interest in software or Web development projects of any type, let's meet online and in person to help each other with the complexities and mysteries that are involved. This group will have a blog at "http://tucson.devcoop.org".

Our next meeting location, time, and date is not known yet. We will post it here as soon as we find out.

For each meeting, we will aim for an "unmeeting" format where we actively work on our projects and help each other in real time. Although the title of the SIG is " Developers'.." the group is open to anyone who wants to build something, whether using web-based tools, code or other techniques. Goals include collaboration, exchange of ideas, learning from each other, networking, feedback, and fun.

Golda Velez's blog is located at http://goldavelez.com.
Her resume is located at http://iwhome.com/09GoldaVelezResume.doc.
Her twitter page is located at http://twitter.com/gvelez17>http://twitter.com/gvelez17. If you have a software programming challenge, she can probably point you the right direction. Like many of the rest of us, she is an "old hand" at the legacy "Web 1". Also like all of the rest of us, she needs to make a transition into the emerging "Web 2" environment. Golda's two research interviews about "Breaking into the Semantic Web" are fascinating reads. Let's work together to learn this new stuff with a combination of small steps and big leaps.

Dave Parizek is a stay home dad and part-time programmer. He has Mac OSX Cocoa / Objective-J programming experience, but his current pursuits mostly center around creating Drupal CMS websites like Land Rover Geeks. He is especially excited about exploring the potential of Google Web Toolkit and Google App Engine for web-based application development.
