SIG Leader: George Harding

The Windows 7/Hardware SIG meets the on first Wednesday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Pima County Medical Society. At all of our meetings, your questions, comments, and problems will be given top priority!

Our next meeting will be on October 6, 2010. George Harding will demonstrate at least one of his amazing computer-related gadgets. Some possible additional topics for this meeting are shown in our Meeting Notes page. Please let Francis or George know about what you want us to present.

If there is time, Francis will demonstrate the use of the "Windows Recovery Console" (for "Windows XP") and/or the "Windows Recovery Environment" (for "Windows Vista" and "Windows 7") to repair Windows computers that will not boot.

The purpose of this SIG is to explore and explain PC hardware, Windows operating systems, and the interaction between the two. We will discuss the purchase, upgrading, and configuration of both hardware and the Windows operating system. We have access to every client/desktop version of "Windows" from 3.1 to 7.
